Bluetooth car kit won't answer incoming calls
I have a bluetooth hands-free car kit in my Lincoln LS that I use with my V710. After some effort, I finally got everything adjusted so that the it works pretty good - except for one big problem. The phone will not ring when I have an incoming call. If I happen to notice the outside display on my phone when a call comes in, then I can open the phone and take the call. Even when I visually see the call come in though, I still can't accept it with the button on my hands-free car kit. Once I accept the call with the phone, then it works normally through my bluetooth car kit with the sound coming through the car's speakers.
I have fiddled with all the settings at menu-settings-car settings, and nothing I set it on will make the phone wor...

Just thought I'd post a follow up message for this problem. I took my phone to Verizon yesterday with the complaint about incoming calls not ringing through when the phone is paired with my bluetooth car kit. I suggested to the service tech that he try my phone with a bluetooth headset to see if the same thing happens. He said that he didn't have a bluetooth headset to try. What?!! Anyhow, he gave me a new phone and said to see if that solves the problem. It did. Incoming calls now ring through fine when my phone is paired to my bluetooth car kit.
Other than having to adjust all my settings again (he transferred my phonebook at least), my only complaint now is that the new phone does not seem to have the incredibly good reception ...
