Camera Problems - Software Issue

I have come to the conclusion that the camera problem is a software issue. I recently purchased a v710 and I took a few pictures on the phone before turning it off for the first time. The pictures looked very good. However, after I turned the phone off and took pictures with it, the pictures had a great deal of static. The exact same issue is occuring with my brother who has the phone. Hopefully they will fix this with the next software update. As anyone else experienced this exact same phenomenon? Thanks...

yeah

when there isnt much light and the picture is dark, when I snap the picture I get static. want to see something ugly? go into a dark room, and take a picture without the flash...its not a black screen, its all staticy like a scrambled tv(just a little darker).

hopfully it will be fixed, if not, I could deal

That is not my point. My point was when I got the phone and turned the phone on I could take pictures in more dimly lit areas and they would come out well. However, the first time I turned it off/on again the pictures started coming out poorly. Just an observation.....

That's kinda funny. CMOS sensors usually go through a burn in period, but this is normally done in assembly. Usually about 48 hours. Maybe you can keep getting a new phone ever few days and that'll keep your picture resolutions nice and crisp! 😉
