Any way to change the "Voicemail" number on the voice menu?

Hi Everyone,

Is there anyway to change the number that the phone dials when you hit the voice menu key and say "Voicemail" ? I wanted to add two pauses and my password. I know that I can add it to my "Voicemail" contact in my contact list but then I have to say, "Name dial......... Voicemail..." That gets old after a while.

Thanks,

Sam

go into message center and open the message settings section. Go into the voicemail # tab and you will be able to change your voicemail info and add pauses and such

Sam,

I have my voice mail set up under speed dial #1 with the pauses and my password.I put in two pauses. This permits me to just press 1 then I am then immediately taken to my messages.

*86ppxxxxxx

Hope this helps you.

Actually i just did it and it works. no need to waste a contact on it.. just press your voice dial on your headset and say voicemail and it will do it.

Right after you flip the phone open, push the down button. Then scroll down on the new menu that popped up to 'message settings' and hit 'ok'.

Then select the 'Voicemail No.' and hit 'change' softkey. Edit your voicemail number there. This is the one that is used in the voice command dialing.
