Phonebook display
In the phonebook you can cycle through your different groups, and leave it on one. It will stay for a little bit, but will eventually revert back to your default phonebook view being all entries. I want to get my phonebook to stay on just one of my groups -- any suggestions? thanks!

go to you phone contacts.
press menu
scroll down (using the arrow keys to categories
press select
The sub menu Categories will appear
scroll down to which categoy you wish to use
press select
That category will appear when you go into your phonebook

Thanks for your response, however, once I power off the phone and power it on again, the phonebook reverts back to the whole view rather than that subset. Any other ideas? Thanks. 😳

yes, this is either stupid by design or a bug.
Let me explain...if you go into phonebook settings and choose VIEW, Categorie, Personal.
YOu will only see personal and it will actually set to the default if you turn phone on and off .. but only SOMETIMES.. sometimes it reverts back...
Also, on my phone, the BUG is that after you select another category to view, and shut the phone off and turn it on again,press contacts, the whole screen goes blank, you lose signal and the phone reboots
so this is pretty much a useless function if your goal is to narrow down the number of entries you see when you scroll thru your phonebook
