Is there a way to search through your contacts using the numbers not the names?

Yes, if you mean the speed dial numbers.
Go to phonebook. Press menu. Go to settings.
Under phonebook setup you'll see SORT BY: Press the left or right button and it will scroll to Name, Speed No. or Email.
Press done when finished.

There is another easier way to do it which does not require you to switch your phonebook set-up to display numbers by speed-dial #.
Just type in any speed-dial number from the main screen of the phone, and then hit the "#" key.
That will bring up any speed-dial number that you just typed in.
