Motorola V710
Verizon Store
I went to pay my bill today at my local Verizon store, so I was alittle bit of a wise guy and heled my V710 in my hand 🙂 There where 4 Sales people there and they all went into a huddle and was looking at me wispering 🙂 So I was at the desk paying and i looked over to them and said "guys you don't have any cases for the V710 yet do you?" the kid came flying over and said Ya we all saw that u had it, "WHERE DID U GET IT?" and they all asked if they could look at it, and listen to the MP3's 🙂 hahahaha then when I was paying the sales kid told me I had to show the person taking my money, then he asked where I got it... wicked funny, then I went straight to lunch and had the phone on the table and the waiter comes over and says "IS THAT THE ...

Oh and PS they said they didn't get any shippment yet of the V710's and they all haven't even been given a date when they will be selling them......

My Perception of this phone

I purchased this phone last friday. It was the only v710 available to be sold at Radio Shack in my neighborhood.
After using it for almost a week, I like this phone a lot. I've been a motorola customer for a while now. The menu is similar to other models with the exception of added features. I haven't used the Bluetooth feature yet. The speakerphone is awesome. The other party had no problem hearing me. 🙂 Overall,it's a great phone.
In Conclusion, no phone is perfect, there will always be glitches. That's why we have the option of updating the software on any phone. Thus far, no bugs.

I work at radioshack and we sell the phone for 319.99 with a two year agreement and a 70 dollar mail in rebate... same price! not to mention we have them now! as for the software update? what software update? even if there is you can take it to a verizon store and have it flashed... you would have the phone almost a month before everyone.

It's 100 cheaper for retail price only. Make sure ur facts are correct.

UNLESS you count in the New Every 2 promotion, which Radio Shack does not (*officially) support... THAT would bring the total down $100 to those who qualify...
