i just recently broke my v60p(still works, just with no screen, that phone is immortal) and i cant really go any longer without a phone, so i was thinking of getting this phone on the 11th of august (my contract dont end until 9/14 but they said i could upgrade 1 month earlier) so what do you recommend i do???

wait another month until my contract officially expires and maybe get it for cheaper with less bugs? or get it on the 11th for 320$??? btw, what are the requirements for the 70$ rebate???

If your phone broke and if you have insurance on the phone. Something I recommend. Then Verizon will replace it at no cost.

As far as a price drop... um... not likely in the next month. Probably after 3 or 4 months. Although vzwshop.com is selling the phone $70 less without having to mail in anything. It is possible... possible, but not probable... but it is possible that the physical stores will do the something.

Requirements for the $70 rebate? Buy the phone.
Mail in the rebate voucher and wait 6-8 weeks. Then run to the mail box and grab your $70 check before the damn kids or wife gets there meat hooks in it. Those are the only requirements.

Sorry, but this is not true. If you have insurance and you brake your phone or if it stolen/lost, VXW wont replace it. It is either Asurion or Lockline (depending on your state) who will replace it. In addition, the replacement phone does cost you $50.00. You will not get one for free, not even if cry 😁

Hope this clarifies things 😎

The first thing they did was halt the account so that no additional activity or charges would occur. Then I gave them the police report assignment number. I am not sure what Verizon did but 2 days later I got a call from Verizon with a insurance case number and I was told to take that information to any Verizon store and my phone would be replaced. At no additional cost.

My sister dropped her phone in the mall and damaged it beyond use. She went to the Verizon store. Sense she was in the mall anyway. Told them what happened. They called Verizon. 2 days later Verizon call...
