anyone know if you can buy a phone outside your home area?
here's the deal... i'm leaving to go on vacation on monday 8/9... i'm headed to the greater new england area. i'm pretty convinced my local corporate verizon store won't sell me a 710 early (assuming 8/11 is the sale date).
if i'm elegible for the promotional price (need to renew my contract), can i buy the 710 at a boston-area VZW corporate store, or do i need to go to a store in my "home area"? (i live outside of DC.)
anyone know? by the time i get back here on 8/18, i have a feeling they'll be out of stock...

You can purchase the phone they just have to call and get your acct info to program the phone for your local.

Go to Radio Shack tomorrow if your not eligable for new every 2. you'll get the same price. And they will probably have a the G version software.
