Verizon Corporate Discount?

BPowers

Has anyone heard or seen information concerning what the corporate discount is going to be through Verizon once the phone comes out?

If it has not been released, does anyone know what the typical discount is off of a new phone? My sister workd for BofA and is supposed to get a good discount but they will not release information to her.

Anyone have any idea?

you have to work for a company that offers it, usually big named companys (ie fortune 500s) etc...

if your company offers it, Id hope you would have been informed 🙂

I'm expecting a 50% discount for my corporate discount (BAE Systems). Tack on the NE2 and I don't expect to be paying much for this phone after the $70 rebate is in my hands.

Just to clarify what I said above as I've gotten more than a few private emails in response to it. I am baseing my "expected" discount of 50% because that's what I got when I got my TimePort P8767 from VZW in 2001 and the same 50% off when I got (and later returned) the v600 at ATT Wireless his spring. I imagine the discount could be less for the v710. Time will tell.

Also, to answer some of the emails I got (I'll still reply privately), there is no real point-of-contact. I always just take my badge and my most...

I think it really depends on the agreement between the corporation and VZW. Ours ranges drastically from phone to phone. Anywhere from 0% up to 110%. The VX7000 for example is zero, so I don't imagine the v710 will be a great deal at first.
