Just got it, love it but....
Hey everyone,
So I just got it and I love it! It's a really nice phone. Everyone at RS wanted to see it cuz even the employees hadn't seen one yet. The size is great (I don't know why everyone was bitching), the keypad ultra nica, speaker phone super loud, voice recognition is the best I've seen...
I still gotta learn how to work a lot of the functions.
I got a question for those who do have it. My indoor pics are all coming out like crap 😢 . All the outdoor pics look awesome. I tried the light and its not even centered to the center of the pic. Tried all the pic setup stuff and nothing. Is somebody else having a similar problem? I hope the camera didn't come defective. ☹️

Please read other posts there are many posts about the same problem. It seems like if you bought it for the camera for indoor pics, then return it. It is possible that it may get fixed with firmware. Use the forum search engine for quicker results on you quest for info.

Hey Elec Engineer, Didnt someone post a week ago about that Motorola was working on a new firmware and it should be out in October? I wondering if there is a way to confirm this or not. Motorola wont give anyone an official answer. Hopefully they will fix small issues like that with a new software version.

The indoor quality is CRAP! I am really upset at this and I hope that some new software can fix this....

i herd they are still testing it and not to buy it untill September or august. supposedly those will have that problem fixed.

Exactly! maybe Radioshack received an old shipment of the phone that still had some bugs in them, I really think this is what happened because I heard the phone had this problem (the flash not being center) in late May or early June, but I read they sent it back for more testing and to fix this, this is why (and like I said earlier) Imma get mine from VZW.

I waited for over half a year for VZN to offer the v600. It never happened. I waited months for VZN to offer the v710. It may never happen. Fortunately, Radio Shack is selling this camera with VZN as the service provider. The best network with the best phone... a nice combo! It's a shame VZN won't offer this phone at their own stores.
I got this phone Friday from Radio Shack. It works great! Motorola did it again. A great intuitive design. I had no problems getting this to work with my laptop and the Motorola headset via Bluetooth.
The picture quality is good considering this is a 1.2 Megapixel camera phone. I plan to get the miniSD memory card next.
