Bluetooth activation Acura TL
Bought a V710 from my local radio shack dealer. Did the pairing according to the
Acura instruction (generic version)...Pairing was confirmed however only outgoing calls can be made from the car. Incoming calls are not recognized. I have tried clearing and re-pairing but to no success.....Verizon and the Acura hands free people do not even have any instructions on the V710 yet....so they are no help....the only help is if someone out there has successfully paired the V710 with a TL for both incoming and outgoing calls and can tell me what they did that I might do differently. ......Thanks

Was able to pair mine to my Acura without a problem, used the generic Acura instructions. All I can suggest is that you make sure your bluetooth power setting on the phone is set to "on" - I lost the pairing initially until I set the default to on...hope it helps

Mine would drop incoming calls until I turned off the ringer id's. Once that was done for all phonebook entries, everything has been fine.

Works just fine in the TL. Sound is great! Have you figured out how to make the NAV place calls ? The phone number is shown on the look up and the phone icon is on the NAV screen, but it does not respond.
thanks-

Press the phone button on the steering wheel, say "dial", navi voice asks for the number, you give number, then it dials. You have to press the phone button before the navi knows to listen??? You can enter your contacts by pressing phone button, saying phonebook, choose store option, give it the number...yadda,yadda, yadda. Quite simple really. Just takes some time since the contacts from the phone do not sync with the TL.

I've encounter no problems. Incoming and outing calls work fine. The only pain is having to verbally put in the Acura phonebook. The TL will not recognize your phones phonebook.
If you followed all the instructions, you can call Acura. I did and they were very helpful.
Good luck.
