Based on what others have been saying, I'm wondering if they've just locked out connecting via, "Non-Moto" products?
I will let you know how it works. If 3.11 works fine, I can try to arrange to distribute it to some people.

I'm pretty sure bluetooth file and contact transfer is never going to work without a phone software update. The phone bluetooth profile necessary for file transferring (usually called OBEX - Object Exchange) does not exist. Without this profile on the phone, no version of Mobile Phone Tools is going to do it.
When connecting the phone to a PDA or notebook, all the profiles available on the phone are pulled over and reported by the notebook/PDA. OBEX is not one of them. Therefore, no bluetooth file transfers.
