do u have to have the same phone on ur verizon contract for 22 months in order to be eligible for the 2yr agreement price upgrade???? cuz i got my phone last july 3rd and we upgraded our plan on july 16th and i got the lg 7000, but i gave the 7000 back yesterday and today i went to RS to get the phone and he said na he cant sell it to me cuz verizon and RS have different rules and in order to be eligible for that u must have it for 22 months... is this true???

thats what i tried to ask him and he kept telling me no... ill call the 800 radio shack number 2morrow morning asap and ask them... if i can call another store and have them confirm that i CAN get it then I WILL BE GETTING IT!!! thanks nitro

if u did the upgrade through verizon u have to cancel ur plan renewal totaly and redo it by them cause they cant sell u a phone at discounted price if verizon did the contract so this is the best thing to do just call up verizon tell the...

that probably won't work, once someone or someplace (vzw, rs, mom and pop store) processes an upgrade on your account your upgrade eligibility date is updated. I have not yet seen that date able to be changed. I believe that the VZW store is the only one that can help.

i tried telling him to call verizon and he was like no cuz RS is the one with 22 month rule only at verizon can u get a phone after 12 months... to me this made NO SENSE... so ur telling me hes wrong??

ok, let me see if I understand your original post, you signed last year on july 3rd, now was that a one year contract or a two year contract. On a one year contract you would be eligible for an upgrade at 10 months either at an RS or VZW store. If you signed a two-year contract, you would be eligble for an upgrade at RS 22 months in. The VZW store handles what they call an early upgrade. For that you must be at least 12 months into your two year contract and sign a new two year contract and you can get an upgrade but ONLY at a VZW store. When you change your plan you usually extened your contract but that DOES NOT change your upgrade date.
