Just got back from RS with my new V710! 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁

Took a little doing, but I got it paired with my Acura TL. Very cool.
It does not come with a transflash card, so I have to get my order in for one ASAP.

My Palm T3 can recognize the phone but can't communicate with it. Needless to say the V710 is not listed as a device on the T3. Any suggestions on how to get this to work?

It works great. Sound through the audio system is a little scratchy, but not bad at all. Very easy to transfer the call from the phone to the car and back again.

I'll have to work with it a little more, but right now the address book on the car is a little clunky. I believe you need to set up multiple steps in order to connect to something like your office voice mail system. I had to set up one address book slot to call the office, and then use another slot to enter in my passcode. I'll mess with it more this afternoon and let you know.

By the way, I do not have the navigation system. Purchased a 6speed manual without the navi. Kind of wish I spent the extra for the navi, but oh well.

Does the signal strength, battery level and caller ID show up in the MID? Also which RS did you go to? The ones around me said that they don’t have them yet.

Thanks

I went to the RS in Pacific Beach, corner of Garnet and Ingram I think. They received two this morning. I purchased mine about 30 min after it arrived. They had one more that they were messing around with in the store. So I saw two of them for certain.

I am headed back to the car now so I will look for that feature. Didn't notice it the first time around. I do not have the navigation package on my car, so I'm not sure if that is an option available to me. Otherwise it works great. I started a phone call outside the car. Whe...

Yes. Two year agreement. I have been with Verizon for something like 13 years. I'm not jumping to a GSM carrier and I don't change my phone out that often. My previous phone was a beat up V60i. As long as the phone works I will be happy with it for two years or so.

I have only had mine a few hours, so I am not sure on the battery life. How long can you go on a full charge? At least through the day I hope 😳
