Here are some pics of/from the phone that actually does exist. I just got mine today right off the FedEx truck at RadioShack. The first pics are of the phone taken with a digital camera. The other ones (the ones with the descriptions) were taken with the phone. Let me know if you want any other types of pictures from the phone (screenshots, pics with zoom, videos, etc). Just to keep talking about it a bit more. The light on the phone is really cool, but it doesn't work for longer distances. Also, if anyone does end up getting the phone from Radioshack I definately suggest putting it on your RSAP card and getting 12 months no interest on it, and getting the service plan that gives you new batteries as you need them. If this phone is like most motorolas it will probably go maybe a year before you need a new battery. do yourself a favor and spend the extra 50 bucks and just get new batteries whenever you "need" them. Ok, now I'm done being a salesman 😁 😎

when i went today they only had the bluetooth accessories which were cheap, are u getting one of those to? which do u recommend the black one or the blue one? I wonder why some stores get them and other stores don't? We have 2 stores and only one store is getting it, tomorrow and to qoute the manager "we will be getting atleast one in tomorrow" which is 7-29. To purchase this phone at Radio Shack will not be a great idea for me, when i can get it for $100 cheaper with my new every 2 which he says radio shack doesnt honor cause there phone are already so cheap. yea i know, sprint by far has better phones, at least they did until this one!!! The V710 kicks the crap out of the Samsung 680. The main reason taht some RS get phones and others dont is mainly controlled by volume and the amount of phones that each store sells. I still have yet to see one A610 in my store (doesn't matter, I don't like the phone) and there are a couple of stores in our district that have a couple. It all comes down to those midgets in Fort Worth and what they think we'll sell. As for the NE2, I wish that Verizon would allow us to do it, but the manager you talked to is partly right, we do beat them by at least 50 bucks on average for the phones. Probably easiest thing is to use the store locator on RadioShack.com and then call the stores.

I've put in so many area codes in the store locator with no luck. I was not sure if one store could do a look up in the area to see which stores actually recieved the 2 phones.

I don't know if that will work so soon. If stores just got the phone, don't they have to be entered into store inventory? Plus, there may be a lag between the store's computers and the information reported back to the website. Calling may be the only way to get an accurate update.

The main release of the phone is going to be Aug 11, but some may get it in the stores by the 10th. Radio Shack is selling them today if you are lucky enough to be near one that has one in stock.
VZW is notorious for waiting for the last minute to sell and advertise. Remember the V60P, the great push to talk phone (garbage)? Well Motorola put out a press release two to three weeks before VZW enough acknowledged the existence. The week before it was released, the stores were informed when it would come out. It came out no sooner.

Verizon has like 4 camera phones out now. Yeah! SO what sprint has more camera phones. Sprint doesn't take the time to make things right and their phones seem to break. I did buy the V710. I hear that the V710 was made just for RADIO SHACK. The verizon stores will not carry it.

How could you say that the v710 was made to be sold through RS only? This is nonsense so keep that stuff to yourself because it is not true. Yes,it will be sold through VZW stores all over the nation once it's released 👿
