New Info: Spoke to manager
Ok, since I suggested it, I'll be the 1st to start.
I spoke with my friend who manages a local store here in NY. It's an authorized retailer and not a VZW store.... He said that he gets the phones at exactly the same time the VZW stores get them and he was told that he isnt getting them again, Verizon was delaying the release.
He states that he does not know when they will be out but will tell me the day b4 or asap.
He's a very close friend and would not lie to me. He's got nothing to lose by doing so. Plus it's money in his pocket when I upgrade, so he's looking forward to the release just as much as I am. Also, he's looking to switch to the v710 and is just as anxious.
I will let you all know as soon as he tells me somet...

Your theory of using helpful phrases like New Info would only work if everyone on here had the same idea about what is new info. Personally, I look forward to the day of mature discussions here, but don't expect them until the phone really is out.
As for this New Info post, in my opinion it's not new info. 100 different people have posted something from someone they know at a VZ store, and nobody really knows if it is accurate. I think if you can get everyone to agree that the VZ callcenter people, and the store people don't have a clue, then we can have some real discussions. But until then, it's all he said/she said.
