Can ANYONE answer this?
Not looking for speculations....
Does anyone REALLY know why NO ONE knows anything about this damn thing as VZW? Dont they have a technology dept that would know? There has to be SOMEONE who knows SOMETHING that works for them? Management of the tech dept?
Perhaps they know that the release of this phone is going to overload the stores and they want to keep it hush hush so that the lines arent ridiculous?
All I know is that they are pissing a LOT of people off by being so secretive.

There is a very simple reason why its so "secretive" and that is because it is a strict company policy not to release company information like that prior to the authorization to do so. Verizon Wireless is very well aware of phonescoop.com and VZW is not happy with phonescoop at all. Phonescoop releases information on VZW handsets that VZW does not want released. I quote an employee of VZW "phonescoop.com has it's nose wehre it doesn't belong". Now, this is NOT my view. I am glad to get any information I can when I can.

That's actually pretty hilarious, because the one time I called VZW last week, the local store ref'd me to tech support...When I called them, they referred me to phonescoop.com for specs, etc, after telling me it is coming out Tu or Wed.

I find the original message interesting since VZW representatives were the ones who directed me to log onto phonescoop.com to check when new Motorola phones would be made available. And that's when I noticed the V710. Also, if VZW hated this site so much, why would they buy so many ads on it? Think about it.
