CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS POST?
Can anyone confirm this post? I hope to God that this isnt a cruel joke.
As for the Acura TL people out there... I have the car too... the ONLY phone that will work with our car is the v710 if u have Verizon.... the AT&T and Cingular bluetooth phones work well too.... but they arent as u well know CDMA... so we are STUCK waiting for this phone.

Actually there is a Sprint phone that can be set to work with Verizon. If I recall correctly it is either a Sprint T608, or Ericcson T608, and it is (or was) available from Sprint. People on the Acura web forums have talked about it, and I'm sure if you did a search there you would find it. of course I, like you, am just waiting for this v710. The bad news is that I read on Howard Forums that while the bluetooth works ...

Yes. I don't know about the 608 I mentioned in the earlier post, but there are plenty of GSM phones that pass all the information through to the TL. You might want to check out the Acura TL forums...there are a few different ones, and there has been much discussion of bluetooth phones on them.
