Sprint today announced availability of the Audiovox PM-8920, the first megapixel-resolution camera phone released in the United States. The 1.3 megapixel camera is complemented by an LED flash and a macro switch for close-up shots. Dual TFT displays each support 260,000 colors. The PM-8920 is manufactured by Curitel, distributed by Audiovox, and branded by Sprint. The phone is available now for $150 after rebates
With This phone available and being similar to the 710. Verizon may lose a few customers, do to the fact of the 710 not being release yet.

According the the VZW site there is a Easton store but no mention of a Eastland store. I called and got the "All reps are busy, please leave a message" announcement on their VM. The number is 614-476-9786. Have at it gentlemen (and ladies).

$349? was that full retail or with a 1 or 2 year contract? if it's $349 with a 2 year and no rebate, i'll pass. that's way too expensive, especially compared to the 7000 with a 2 year.

So I called customer service at Eastland Mall and the lady gave me the number to some booth, which is an authorized verizon wireless agent. I called the booth, and spoke to this really sweet chick about the v710. She is also going crazy waiting on this phone, but they do have the phone on display there. We just spoke about it for 20 minutes, and she also called the manager of their main store and asked about the exact date they are getting it in. It's going to be within the week and because I'm in Maryland the manager and the girl I spoke too felt bad that I wouldn't be able to go in and get it so they are shipping it to me as soon as their shipment arrives so I'm guaranteed a phone. The price of the phone with a 2 year contract will be 179....

c.) I'm not going to give you her name or her cell phone number, that is an invasion of her privacy, but the number for the main store is 614-759-4400. They are closed for the evening right now and open around noon tomorrow so you can call and ask the manager (also a female) about the phone.

sorry about the guy thing, didnt know!!! and you have to understand everybody that says they have or seen or whatever they are lieing!!! well a few of them on here for sure and when we ask for proof, it seems they cant come up with it!!! i really hope your telling the truth, i want it to be true!!! but ill call monday and see what they say. thanks

I never stated I saw the display model, don't forget that. Someone else said they did and I called to verify, and the lady there did indeed verify that information. I live in Maryland, that store is in Columbus, OH. I just had them check for me on pricing and verifying that it will arrive sometime soon and they offered to ship it to me if in fact the stores in my area don't have it when this store gets it in.
