This used to work like a charm for me but now I get nothing. I called Verizon Tech support and they told me that the service is no longer available as a per/minute charge. They said I had to sign up for a data plan.

Anyone else having a problem using thier V710 to connect thier laptop to the internet over bluetooth?

I haven't done it in over a year, but Bluetooth DUN was the #1 reason for me selecting this phone when I did.

I seem to recall it was disabled when you got a flash update from the original software, but I'm thinking they cannot totally disable it until each contract signed has expired (i.e. it should HAVE to work for me until my 2-year agreement is over...this August). I'm sure tough that I am wrong and they can disable it any ol' time they please. SOBs!!

How did you have your Dial up Connection configured? What was the number, username, password.

The data plans are all for high speed now. You should still be able to dial in to your ISP and get 14.4kbps.
