Verizon Phones

You know...there have been alot of posts regarding Verizon's lack of cool phones...but when I did a search of the the phones available right now for the big companies (i.e. Sprint, Verizon, ATT, US Cellular, etc.), Verizon's phones are just as good as the others, if not better.

Seems like every other company has a crapload of Nokia phones, which i hate because Nokia refuses to go to the flip phone (although i think i heard they have or are coming out with a flip)...but anyway, i think Verizon's phone selection is just as good as any other companies.

Anyone else agree or disagree??

I agree and disagree.

with exception to the past 2 months or so...Verizons phone selection was waaaaaaay sub par compared to the others. there was a dry spell of about 6 months where everyone came out with cool speaker phones with cameras and verizon didnt have anything. I still am not totally impressed with any phone that verizon has out now...although they did get several new phones lately which helped them out.

Im basically looking for a phone with a large clean display, speaker phone, and a good camera...right now, verizon doesnt offer that...that is why I am waiting for the v710

I was a bit dissapointed with the current selection of tri-mode video phones from Verizon. They want to go all digital and are pushing it hard but the coverage in and around the Colorado 5 state region mandates analogue capability.

problem with Verizon is that they don't rush their phones to retail, they continue to test each model, by the time it hits the retail floor to sell, the next model has been released by the manufacture
