Motorola V710
If you think the 710 is too BIG... here's an easy way to confirm....
Walk into any AT&T store and hold the Motorola V600 phone they sell now. It looks VERY similar to the 710... and is actually a bit smaller. But when I held it... it just felt TOO big for me. I should mention that I like small phones and currently have a Samsung a530. I like the 710 for its features, but size will be a big issue here.
Anyhow, check out the v600 in stores now and you can see if you'll like the 710 or not. Remember, the 710 is even BIGGER than the 600... specs are on PhoneScoop.

Good suggestion. The V600 is slightly smaller than the V710. The V710 less than a quarter-inch longer, and if I recall the depth and width of the V710 is only a few mm more in both dimensions...

Im glad to hear that. I dont think the v600 is too big at all. I used to be a fan of smaller phones myself (like when the v60 first came out) but Im starting to see why some people said "these new phones are getting too small"
I cant wait to get the v710.
on that note, how are people even comparing the vx7000 to the v710?? from what I have gathered, the v710 blows it away in every catagory except maybe battery...and maybe that its a hair smaller. I just dont see it, am I missing something about the vx7000?

i have to agree with you about size. I have had a bar style phone forever and will be getting the v710. I rather have a phone that is very thin compared to length. It looks from some pictures that that the 7000 is a tad longer than the v710. I will probably get the extended battery anyway, hopefully it will add 45min-1hr of talk time or more.
i think people are not sure about the v710 because of the t720t730 phones. Mainly because they sucked and had a bunch of problems.
