I am thinking to switch over to AT&T, but I am concern about the reception of AT&T won't be compared with Verizon Wireless. I have never had any complain about the reception of VZwireless. I used to be a customer of AT&T, T-Mobile and now Verizon. Anywhere I go, I usually check the reception of other wireless phone companies, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Cingular from my friends, family, and other people. Sometime they are mad at me cause I have a good signal.

My suggestion is that if you switch to ATT and get the V600 (GSM network), take FULL advantage of their 30-day trial period and do NOT cancel your old service with your old provider (especially if you want to take your old phone number to ATT)
I am presently with Verizon wireless with a Timeport P8767 and bought the V600 with ATT in late April. Since they had the 30 day trial I used that and kept my Timeport running at the same time. Why CDMA network is better than GSM?
CDMA can go through houses, building and has more coverage than GSM!

CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) gives a unique code to each call and spreads it over the available frequencies. GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) is an improved version of the TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) standard which assigns each call a certain portion of time on a designated frequency. Theoretically, CDMA is a better technology than GSM because the time slots are limited whereas the digital codes used by CDMA are not limited (in theory).
