Motorola V710
Hate to say it. But I told you so!!!!
😛 Everyone like I said a few weeks ago. The Moto V710 has no release date as of right now.
I was advise today by a Supervisor in my center that is testing the phone , that it plans to be out sometime this QTR or early 4QTR.
SO EVERYONE RELAX ITS NOT COMING OUT IN 2 WEEKS OR NEXT WEEK! Just cause someone is testing it doesnt mean its coming out the next week. I cant wait for it to come out myself. Only thing we all can do is just relax and wait. SORRY about that. 😕 😎

😡 Im sorry to say it but im just keeping it real. Verizon doesnt have a date as of right now. Ive been waiting on this phone since Nov. I have a 720 2 years old. Im just waiting. On the real i dont know. I dont want to do what everyone else does and say a date or a month and its not true just keep you waiting for it and it doesnt come out when they may think so. We dont have a date yet. I would think if some other phone comes out before it like the LG 7000( i think thats the model) or any other phone like it comes, we most likely wont put it out ot compete agaists it. I do know that the Samsung Global Phone comes out first and that one is HOT ive played around wth it. Maybe it will come out for a back to school push who knows? We at VZW don...

And im just saying I know its not coming out as soon as people may think. Like you said "it will come out when it comes out". I total agree with you. I dont like when peolpe come on here and give false dates. I was one of the first people to say it wasnt coming out today(5/21/04) or any day this month. I have a feeling you're right about that release date. I'm not a phone junkie or anything, i'm just shopping for a good phone. No official word, just "buzz" and one single txt from motorola themselves. That's not enough for me. The v810 seems more promising. I need a tri-mode phone from what people tell me because of my location. Anyways, i'm not totally desperate for a phone so i can wait a month or 2 to see what happens.

How do we reconcile this with what dse34 said on Thursday:
"ITS CONFIRMED!!! The V710 will be out on friday of next week. We just received a demo unit today and are expecting shipment by early next week. "

I would say that the person giving you an actual release date is more likely to be 'pulling your chain'. I, too work for Verizon and we here in retail have no clue as to when any of the new phones are due to be released. I mean usually we get a couple of weeks notice and so far there is nothing. So I would just chill out and see what happens. I do expect to see the Audiovox 9900 before either the VX7000 or the V710.

😁 Like I said dont get your self worked up on this forum half the people just hear talking. So just chill and wait for it to come out. The 810 will not come out intill Motorola fixes the camra proplem. When the anttena is up it shows in the pic you are trying to take. We(VZW) rejected the phone and Motorola refused to fix it. So im not sure if its coming out or not that phone was to be late last year and early 1st QTR. So i doubt that phone is coming out. So m 😎 y man cool out its coming the v710 that is
