Motorola V710
For those who have tested the 710...
Does anyone know if the camera can act as a standalone feature for taking pictures and uploading said pictures to a PC, all without the need of Verizon?

I don't have the phone but... it appears that an application like DataPilot 3.2 and the correct data cable will allow you to do this.
I use it with an LG VX6000 and it works very good. It's almost like a flash memory device once connected. The newest version (www.susteen.com) indicates support for the V600. I also found the Motorola V710 web site has links from the V710 Data Kit page that lead back to the V600 pages- so it looks promising.
I'l bet Susteen will have an update for V710 out within a week or two if it's release.
