I just talked to Verizon customer service and they say they have no information on this phone. It's not even in their "coming soon" data. Motorola's customer service is now saying mid-summer with no specific date.

of course they're just trying to build up hype so the phone will sell better. Verizon hasn't had a good motorola phone in a while. However, Motorla made it sound as if it wouldn't be available until mid july.

After speaking with Motorola myself this morning, I was told "end of July."

on a funny note... i emailed moto through the moto site and they told me it will be available at the end of Q1 2004.

Depends on how you run your "year". Maybe they mean their or VZW's fiscal year, which for all I know runs June to May (which would really suck, BTW). 😛

i work for VZW Customer Service. We have no idea what phones our coming out until a week before they do. So any Rep that would give you a time frame of when a new phones coming out is probably reading the same forum
