best from VZW atleast. Sprint always has the most up to date fones, the 710 may be outdated compared to sprint. But for VZW- Yes number 1

Unless you want a smart phone w/ pda software, then that will be more expensive; but for the average user this phone should be plenty good

???? What does Sprint have that would out date the v710? I have Sprint and am looking to get a clamshell, megapixel phone and there is none. I can only wish they had a phone like the v710.
The Audiovox CDM-8920 is the only thing close and it is missing two big points no memory card and no Bluetooth.
