Today i looked at phonescoop.com and verizonwireless.com again hoping to find anything new and promising! Of course i didnt find anything and then i sent very angry email to verizon. that's what i got as the answer (no hope at all):

u right TMP it's not meaningless! it tells us that they dont have a clue about what's going on with new phones and they cant sstisfy peoples' hunger for new up to day phones! i was quet for long time coming here every day trying to get new info but failure with v810 and now same thing with v710 is going on! that made me to write all these messages!

Yep, it is pretty much making me think of just dumping Motorola competely. What's the freaking problem, people? You people at Motorola (and Verizon for that matter) better get it in gear, or a lot of these people, including this long time Moto customer (StarTac, V8160) will be saying GoodbyeMoto and HelloNokia.

I do work some of the online boxes and we would never write back an email like that!
THe Blackberry 7750 and the LG VX 4600 have ALREADY been released.. the 4600 for over a week so why does your email state.. will be launching??? The blackberry was launched BEFORE phonescoop ever even got word of it! 😳
The V710 will be the End of may Beginning of June.. and BTW I already had one for my 3 month testing period. No MAJOR bugs at all.. everything was functional.

Well the Sales reps at Motorola are saying July 2004. So who knows. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Just that everyday you get a different date. Im just annoyed that they pushed it back.

i dont know about u working in some of the online boxes but what i think is that u dont know your job too well if u could say "we would never write back an email like that!" I forgot to say one little thing. i think all these guys who say "we work for verizon" and giving us dates of release which never been met so far are own us an apology and they have to say sorry for confusing us!!!!!!!!!!!! these promises make us wait and hope to buy great phone in the nearest future! we wait, wait, and wait and when time comes-guess what, no phone!!! that makes people angry. and i see a lot of angry people in here coming every day to find something new! i'm angry too! all i want is to buy new phone!!!! i have startac for the last 3 years and it works great. but it doesnt have all those nice futures and this makes me to come here and look for some news! i think that Verizon has to post news to make sure people come to them a...

Just like Verizon, the 3200 is the extreme low end phone , who the hell wants a blackberry, and the 4600, which is decent, is only availible to NEW ON-Line customers!!

Ok... I've gotten alot of emails.. usually I keep my mouth shut because I don't get to test phones that often so I never have any first person experience.. but the Motorola is different...
I am not too fond of Motorola's and never have been (except the first startacs when they came out) but since then nothing has raised my brows..
This motorola is neat though.
The bluetooth headset worked nice with it.. but besides that I really didn't have any other need for bluetooth..
the speakerphone was nice.. not as loud as the V60S or the nextel(they are friggin bullhorns) but it sounds good.
The camera is nice. The flash doesn't work as well as a digital camera flash but it does yield much better pictures than my lg 6000 in low li...
