v710 lawsuit
I got my email this morning concerning the settlement. Same email as everyone else. My page, like everyone elses, doesnt open up. Being impatient, I called Verizon to see if the reps there could tell me anything. She told me she had heard something about it but had no info to give me and saw nothing in her system about the lawsuit. If anyone has any new info please pass it along.

Something tells me this link goes live September 1st or September 5th. The e-mail said "shortly" but probably should have said within the next week.

Been off the forum for awhile and have not really followed this issue. For the most part, I am happy with mine. I have NOT changed the software/firmware, have a good keypad and great reception. I can still load mp3s for ringers and have not attempted any hacks. I have 2 regular batteries and the desk charger so I run each all the way down and then switch. Both seem to be suffering from shorter life between charges.
Will someone give me a brief summary of the settlement, what is rumored to be included and who receives the benefits? I was an early v710 purchaser (late Aug or early Sept of 05).
Any updates would be greatly appreciated. I realize that the info I am requesting is posted in the forum but there are too many p...
