I was informed today by Verizon Customer Care that the V710 price reduction was temporary and that they plan on raising the price of the V710 in the very near future so if you plan on getting a V710 now is the time!

With the E815 on the way and considering the V710 is nearly a year old model now.... I would think that the VZW rep was incorrect. 🙄

Well the E815 is all digital and the V710 is tri-mode so in a way the E815 is a upgrade to the V710 on SOME features. So i don't know if they are taking back the rebate or what. I know they just had a boost in sales with the V710 so i don't know if thats a factor in raising the price or not. I'm sure if you renew your contract or use your new every 2 you can still manage to get the phone for free.
