Motorola V710
New v710 Resource
Probably in the next day or two, I will launch an FTP server, meant to serve as a file center for the v710. Everyone will be allowed to freely log-in, and contribute what they have, and download what others have contributed.
I made a PHP script that can browse the directories, and allows for direct HTTP downloading, so you won't have to use FTP to get the files.
I won't release the website until there is a good amount of files (software/ringtones/wallpapers/tuorials/flash es/screen savers/movies..etc). There is already a hefty amount of software and flashes available, but I am looking for people with a lot of ringtones, wall papers and screen savers. You will have early access to these files if you are one of those early contributers.

I just added about 8000 midi ringtones, but still need a bunch of mp3 tones. There is already most of the softweare youll ever need.
I am still looking for wall papers and screen savers, too.

I got on the site yesterday and downloaded stuff now that im on there today when i click on the download button it just plays the song what am I doing wrong????? in the Midi section.....

I read your post, and immediately went to work. All music files now have a zipped counterpart. So there should be a 4th column next to any MID MP3 or WAV file that is uploaded saying "Get ZIP"

You could get rid of the ZIPPED folder in movies now that you have zipped as a standard option. Just a suggestion 😉

I might do that.. but then anytime someone makes a folder named "ZIPPED", it won't show up.

The episode is in mp4 format, it will not play on the 710 unless it is in 3g format. Can someone transfer it to 3g?

There has been talk of people wanting porno movies available for the v710.
Originally, I didn't want this, but if all you guys really do, I will put up a "21+" disclaimer for such a section. Let me know before you upload one to the server. Once there is one in a 21+ section, you may all freely upload such movies to that folder.

Yes, you may email me the file. I have never used the service you speak of, but as long as it doesn't take up too much time ((i.e. signing up for something) then you can send it to me via your method.

It's really easy to do. Just clear your cache, watch ANYTHING you want online and then find the file you watched in the "Temporary Internet Files" under Windows.
Then you can convert it to 3G2 format with any number of utilities.
Don't forget to upload for all to enjoy.

I dont mean to brag but I think my Jenna+Brittany video is the best one put up there so far.. I've got a whole bunch of great quality vids but dont have the time to convert each and every one.. Cmon guys lets get some really good quality movies like that in there.

Thanks, I am just awaiting a reply from a HoFo moderator to allow me to post these. shouldn't be a problem since I included an un-bipassable disclaimer, unless you know the exact URL.
PS - You can also upload directly from the website now.. No longer need to log into FTP, though FTP might be faster.

You no longer have to log in via FTP to upload files. You may now upload directly from the website. At the bottom, you will see a very easy method of uploading files.
Please make sure you upload the correct files to the correct directories!
