Motorola V710
New to the V710...could use some help
Id just like to say that this site is great and so far has been pretty helpful with reviews.
To begin with I just purchased the V710 a few days ago and I have a couple questions that I could use your expertise on.
I am new to the get it now feature and ringtones and wall papers, my old phone SCHa310 didnt have any of that stuff so this is a whole new world for me.
I dont have a flash card or a card reader... what do they do, where can I pick one up, and how much are they? EBAY or verizon store ??
How do I get mp3's to my phone? It didnt come with a USB port and I know it says mp3 player, which was one of the main reasons for purchasing the phone.
Is there a way to get rid of all the preprogrammed pictures already in the phon...

I haven't picked one up yet. She Who Must Be Obeyed And Who Tracks Spending (otherwise known as the wife) has informed me that I've spent quite enough money on toys this month. 😁.
Currently, the t-flash cards are all shipping with an SD adapter. So you just need to get a flash reader that can at least do SD.
I got my flash reader from Fry's on one of their insanely-cheap-after-rebate specials. But then I'm in a cool part of the world like that.
I wouldn't bother with the Verizon store. Auctions aren't my thang, so I'd suggest pricewatch.c...

Battery life appears to be pretty good -- unless you happen to be in an analog area. When the phone switches to analog watch out! It's very difficult to get a full days battery life when in these areas while using no talk time at all. Otherwise in digital areas I've easily gotten 3-4 days with moderate talk times.
