Motorola V710
Timeport Ring Style 5 on V710?
I was wondering whether anyone has programmed or can program one of the old ring styles from the Motorola Timeport P8767 (silver startac) series. I loved that phone and still have it just in case my new one breaks or something. However, I am not a fan of the ringstyles available on the v710 and I don't really want a song etc. I liked ring style 5 on the timeport. I was wondering if anyone was able to get it onto their 710 or has a suggestion as to how to do that. Thanks

or use transhflash to move it over if you got one...soo much easier and costs nothing more than the msrp of the flash card

Thanks - however I really do not have the capability of doing that (appropriately recording the tone) and would not know how to make it repeat over and over to create a regular ringtone for the v710. If someone has this capability and could do it that would be great. Any ideas?

It has been a while and I did get a response and I thank you for that. But it really did not provide me with any assistance. I am trying to get the old ring style no. 5 of the Silver Timeport 8767 onto my v710. Trying to record it and then transfer does not seem to work. Does anyone have any better ideas or better yet, can someone create a ringtone which can be emailed to vznpix or transfered via the flashcard that sounds the same as the old p8767 ringstyle # 5. That would be really fantastic and much appreciated if that could be done.
