First of all, I think the vibration is very weak and can barely be felt.

Second, why don't the vibe and ring at the same time, instead of vibe then ring. That is upsetting.

The vibration to me isnt that bad...I can feel it when I wear it on my hip...But it does suck that it cant vib and ring at the same time. That was one thing that I liked about most Nokia phones... 😳

It can vibe and ring at the same time. When the phone is closed you have to use the side buttons to set the phone to vibe & ring.

no, this doesn't make the phone vibrate and ring at the same time. what it does is, when there's an incoming call, the phone will vibrate first(for about a couple rings), and then switch over to loud ringer style.

what i think casino 187 means is that he wants an option where the phone vibrates and rings simultaneously. i believe the v600 actually has this feature, but not tha v710

i agree the vibe is weak, but i like the vibe first then the ring. if i can feel the vib i like to answer my phone before it rings, but if i can't feel the vib,i hear the ring.works good for me. 😁

Am I alone here, thinking that vibration is meant to be felt, and not heard? If its strong enough so that you really FEEL it, it is very loud.

I cant count the times when in class and someones vibrating phone goes off, and its just as bad as the damn ringer. Whats worse, they think its okay to just leave the phone vibrating away in their backpack when it is clearly annoying the professor and the rest of the class.

Granted you may not be in college like me, but I find the vibration on the v710 adequate, and I can feel it just fine. If it were any stronger, I'd have to turn on and off my phone before & after every class (6 of them), when I'm tutoring, church on sundays, at the library, at work.. etc.
