i just went to my local vzw store and checked out the v710. it doesn't seem that bad, especially with all the crap its getting on this board. right now i have an LG-VX6000 and for me the v710 still seems like an upgrade. Even tho its not perfect and has some bugs and whatnot. I'm still going to buy it. Anyone dissagree with me? if so, please state so and why so i dint downgrade phones. thank you in advance.

Joshie,

Buy the phone. It is a complete upgrade from the LGVX6000. Better RF, bluetooth, expandable memory, MP3 ringers, larger 2.2in display, solid feel, picture caller ID, megapixel camera. I love my phone.

I agree with jdiddy, but make sure that the phones extra options are right for you. Personally, I use the h*ll out of the bluetooth for handsfree, and couldnt care less that you cant transfer files. I also find the mp3 player very useful, and I use it at the gym instead of my iPod. The camera is pretty weak, but its a phone first...

I totally disagree with both of you. If you are gonna get a new phone get the LGVX7000. Of course the VX7000 is only digital but the V710 is a pile, in my opinion. One reason being the so called "bluetooth" on the phone. Its not even full bluetooth, its just for handsfree = lame. Plus its a motorola, therefore it still has the crappy motorola charger. I've had tons of people complain about the moto chargers. Plus you will save a little $ if you go with the 7000 instead. The V710 does not display Picture ID on the outside like the 7000 does. Just my $.02, but to each there own.

Get the V710 phone you will love it I think out of all the phones that verizon has right now it is the best one in looks and personally I have not had one prob with mine at all. So I would say get the V710 or wait till the VX8000 comes out there the only 2 phones that our worth buying from verizon in my opinion. The ringtone quality from this phone ROCKS it plays so clear it sounds like a radio everyones always saying how clear my ringtones are on this phone!! Get it your like it!!! 🙂 🙂 😎
