but the non-professional photographers, which are majority, do. Cellphone has overcome digital cameras in recent days. It's not that common to see someone carrying a digital camera nowadays. Therefore, I understand the people who wants, and demand, better camera resolution on their smartphones. Though, consumers need to understand that the higher the quality, the higher the price. If price's not a problem, then go ahead and get the smartphone with the better camera resolution!
If not, the 20 mp res is your best option. Which, it isn't bad at all considering that the over-priced iPhone has, at best, 8 mp and the HTC ONE carries a 4mp ultrapixel camera, and both devices take great pictures despite the low mp count.
As someone mentioned before, 40 mp doesn't look so different from 20 mp at a glance, they main use for 40 mp res are zoom capabilities... which lead to think that 40 mp would fit better when traveling and special ocasions, not for everyday use. But still, if you'd like, or need, a 40 mp res, then be prepared to pay its worth.
