5500 at Best Buy
Tonight, I worked on the truck at Best buy in MD, and i PHYSICALLY saw the Sanyo 5500 come in. I will be getting mine's tomorrow!

Can get the Sprint rebates for this phone at Best Buy Yet if you're a new activation...Its only $350 there though

nah, you don't get the rebates if your an existing customer, but i'm not sure about new customers, there was no sign or info on it yet. I did buy it though, and no rebates printed up, so maybe not, or at least not yet

I checked with two best buys in houston and was told it would not be in for 2-3 weeks. If it is still 350 at best buy i might go ahead and buy it anyway since sprint has it for 379.

Best buy in Schaumburg just got them in and are selling them for 379.99 with a 30.00 instant rebate that anyone can get. with the Sprint 150.00 with new customer contract.

NO VM-4500 at any bestbuys in Houston, or Tyler Texas. I am exchanging a samsung and need it by dec 9th. Anyone in TX know a Bestbuy that has them please e-mail me asap.

They have been really booty tight about psp switches now, and as of 11/10/03 the new psp say you are limited to only one full swap of phone, but i dnt really know how they could enforce it.
I swapped an old sanyo 5150 on 11/09/03 with an old psp... i had to take my phone which did have a dead battery and was freezing up on certain menus to a store and get the techs to write up that it failed a certain test. Once you do that your golden and usually they will swap it out. I swapped that phone for a vga 1000 and i haven't even opened it, so i was just gonna return it within 30days for the new phone.
Just remember after 18months sprint will give you a deal on a new phone... lets just hope for me they start shipping the 4500 to texas in the ne...

BB in houston got em on friday... but most stores only got like 5 or so... and by friday most were gone.... be and abud got one. OMG the phone kicks major ass, but ready link uses batt life faster than calls.
