Playing Sanyo Video Files???

I have used Bitpim and my data cable to transfer my VM4500 videos to my comp.

Now, How do I play the videos? 😕

Is there a special codec I have to DL or a tool available to convert to a more common file type? Thanks for any help.

Sony - Sony Xperia

About a month ago I bought a brand new smartphone from Sony - Sony Xperia 1. This company has captivated me since the days of interesting Sony Erricson phones. Really liked their foldables)
In general, as you understand, I have been a fan of this brand for a long time. But somehow, Sony hasn’t been keeping me very happy lately (And now the company released a new one, Xperia 1 !!!
The phone is waterproof according to the IP68 standard, and there is also a huge number of all kinds of sensors (accelerometer, barometer, pedometer, Hall sensor and many others).

Changing A Tone That Isn't Listed In Settings/Sounds?

If any of you that have this phone, you know it makes a noise when you text someone, or save some info, ect. Is there a way to change that? I've scoured the phone's settings and not one of them appear to me to be it. I've got this one tone I've made and had sent to my phone of Soundwave from the old Transformers series saying "Operation complete." and think it'd be really cool to hear that instead of the annoying default one. Anyway, I know this is an old phone by now, but it's what I got... any help would be appreciated. 😎

Sync with Microsoft Outlook

Can anyone tell me the best way to sync my Outlook contacts with the VM-4500? I've seen the following softwares:

1) SnapSync
2) Datapilot
3) bitpim.

Also, I have 700 contacts with well over a thousand phone numbers - what's the best way to keep everything synced given the 300/500 limits of the phone?

= suck

My 4500 had an issue with both the redialing and charging port. I had the navy blue color. And of course, when I exchanged it, there were no navy blue phones left, and I got stuck with a silver 4500. What terrible service Sprint has. If I wanted a silver phone, I would have bought one in the first place. Now I have to have a stupid case just because the silver scratches so easy.

For Sale!

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Mobile Phone Community:
I have here a Sanyo 5500 for sale. I used it for about two weeks before I switched providers because my house is a dead zone for Sprint. It comes with everything the box included plus five games and about thirty ringtones I downloaded. If you have any questions or would like to make an offer, email me at sanyoforsale@hotmail.com or just reply to this thread!
Thanks 😁

MM-a700 vs Sanyo VM4500

Hey I went into the Sprint store today planning on buying the Sanyo VM4500. But when i walked in The new a700 caught my Eye. I played with it, and the Pictures and Video-clips are very clear and nice. It is a really nice phone, little to wide for my taste, and i dont like how the whole camera thing is, but i really loved it. So after walking into the Store to get what i wanted, i walked out with nothing. Now i cant decide which one to get. I like the Speaker phone on Sanyo, actually i really like it. But that really is the only thing it has over the Samsung. I am just wondering how the 2 phones Compared when Field tested. Which one did Better?

iSync and Mac compatible?

I know that the BoxWave MiniSync cable will work well with the 4500 and a Mac, but what about iSync and/or other Mac stuff?

Any and all input appreciated.

Actual screen resolution

Can anyone tell me the actual physical pixel dimensions of the main screen on the 4500? I would like to make my own screen savers and such in Photoshop. One site I found said 96x128, but that turnes out to be too small. Any help would be much appreciated.

Question about animated pics for VM4500?

I think this phone VM4500 does not support for animated pics. Because I have been to some websites and I tried to download some animated pics, but they did not work
Also, I'd searched on a website, and it says, this phone does not spport for animated pics.
I am so disappointed, cause I love animated pics.
Does anyone know how to get animated pics for this phone?
this is my first time using Sanyo phone, and I love it, nice phone with whoe lot of features and I am not a fan of Sprint. But I love this phone, so now I am a Sprint customer. I still have 13 days left to return the phone. If I don't like the service, probably I will return the phone and stay with Verizon. I love Verizon Wireless. It's the best hand out for wireless servic...

Ssanyo 4500/5500

Would any reliable source from Sprint Corporate confirm whether or not this phone has been discontinued. I know the new hardware version has hit the stores, but is it being replaced altogether?

Sanyo VM-4500 Recall

This is taken from the www.sprintpcsinfo.com website. I had a defective VM-4500 and have the new hardware model with ZERO issues!!! Finally it works:

What went wrong, what is being recalled, and why we haven't reported on this until now.

I know that a lot of people read this site daily, and that I can potentially cost Sprint a lot of money when I report something. So, when it comes to reporting on a recall of a flagship product, I become very hesitant unless I not only know all the information, but the extent to which the problem is occuring. The Hitachi G1000 has a recall out currently as well, I haven't reported on it because, well, the problem is so small, and most users aren't effected. I know that if I start running headlines ov...

sanyo 5600, 7400, and lg 535, and new vision 2.0

Vision 2.0 & The Handsets That Drive It

Sprint's legal death squad has been working overtime to try to put the bottle back on this, we already knew a lot of info, but other web sites have begun hosting a detailed specification sheet of four of Sprint's upcoming phones.

Sanyo 5600 - Samsung's A700 with ReadyLink, Memory Card Slot, QVGA Screen, Speakerphone

Sanyo 7400 - This phone represents a merger of the 8000 series and 7000 series. The durable camera phone will have a megapixel camera, streaming video (QTV) playback, as well as MIDP 2.0.

LG 535 - Samsung's A700 with slider form-factor and a memory card slot

The only new information that this sheet presented on the Samsung A700 was that it confirmed the device would have ...
