one last question
i was just wondering if ne one has had like that 2 year thing where u get a new phone every two years...and like when u were to upgrade u chose a phone where it was buy one get one free....did u get both of the phones for free or just one?

Supposedly, on a familyshare plan, only the main line is supposed to get the NE2 plan; however, my husband & I just got new phones and the CSR checked our account and told us both lines were eligble for the NE2 promo..
As a result, we got to buy both phones BoGo Free and then got the rebates plus our credit...it cost us nothing for 2 a670's!
I don't know how that worked out, but I wasn't going to argue!

Ok.. new every 2 is only available to a phone that has been on a 2 yr contract and has already used 22 months... meaning they have 2 months left on their contract. Also, the plan has to be, or has to migrate to a calling plan 39.99 or higher. Therefore, a second phone on a family share is not eligible unless they get off the famil share and onto their own plan. However, with BOGO, yuou can get he second phone as long as you activate it with a new plan or current plan. Basically, you have to activate it. You cant just get the phone and keep it wihout actiating it.

Various regions may be different, but the general answer is "NO". You cannot comine new every two with a buy one get one offer (see related post on what qualifies as new every two). It would be nice if you could combine both, but you can't mix discounts (and this is typical of most companies so I don't think Verizon is being especially cheap). The buy one get on on this phone is still a pretty hot deal though.
