Delay when picking up incoming call?

Has anyone else noticed a slight delay when receiving a call? It seems that when anyone calls me, my first hello goes unheard and they dont start hearing me until a couple of seconds have gone by. Is it just my phone acting up or do they all do it?

I notice a delay on when I have picture ID attached to that contact. Do you have that delay for all calls, or just the ones in you address book?

So what I did was to assign a picture ID to my own entry in my contact list and then I called my Samsung from my land line. What I noticed was not only did it take three rings on the land line to register one ring on the Samsung, but when I finally answered my Samsung and said hello, I didn't hear it on the land line at first. When I removed the picture ID and called myself again, the problem went away. I then removed the picture ID from the contac...
