Samsung SCH-A670
Samsung SCH-A670 or VX6000
I am a young student who only uses my phone for about 5 hours a day, recieving a few calls. I like the idea of a picture phone but won't use it constantly. I've been looking into getting either the LG VX6000 or the Samsung SCH-A670. So far I've heard great and not so great things about both of the phones. Which one do you think I should buy? Thanks!! 😁

I have the VX6000 now and it is a great phone, and I am also looking into getting the 670. The only thing I am worried about is the battery life of the 670 but everything on the 6000 is great!

I briefly (about 3 days) had the VX6000 but was not impressed at all. Didn't like the sound quality or the features so much. The same places I had service with all my Samusung phones (including my house) was horrible with the VX6000. I went back to the Samsung A530 and then bought the A670 when it came out.

VX6000 if you're looking for a realitively nice fitting phone (for a bigger person). It fit my head and hand pretty well. It also has a very loud ear speaker which I really liked. The only real things I disliked about the LG phone was the fact that it felt like it would crack into pieces of I dropped it.. the casing just didn't seem very sturdy and more over, it would crash randomly when texting.
The samsung has its problems, too. At the moment, lag is a name of the game its playing. It lags when displaying moving background pictures.. which bugs me 🙂 It does have far far better reception then the VX6000, but still limited due to its lack of tri-mode (e.g. no analog roaming). Today I picked up my a670. So far I am definitely likin it. The camera is not the best but I am happy with it. As other people have said, the battery is pretty bad. I am planning on buying the leather case because this phone has to last me a while. I do have a question. Is it possible to on the picture ID also have the phone # shown as well as the pic? Any answers are appreciated! THX! 😁

i'm 18 n off to college this fall. i just got a sch-a670 n my mom got a vx6000...well the a670 is smaller n has the video feature. it also has the voice reconization system which is really nice. i'm yet to get a good look at the vx6000 when i do i'll pry post more. the thing that i noticed more about the 6000 is that is more mainstream...more ring tones n usb cable connect. the samsung is able to connect to the computer but an acctually cable is not out. u can use an older models (or so i've heard), but then again the a670 is so new more stuff may come out for it in the future. i'll post more later.
