I bought this phone the day it came out. Love it !! 😁 This is my 4th Samsung phone and I doubt I'll ever switch brands. I had the A530 prior to this one and the 670 isn't much bigger than it. I like the size, color, shape, sound quality, the camera isn't as good as the 610 but it's still fun. You can assign photos that you take to people so heir face or that photo shows on the outer display. Pretty fun. Get it now options are limited but Vzw will add more soon I'm sure.

How is the battery life? I'm hearing mixed reviews. I am either going to get the phone or the VX 7000 and battery life is one of the deciding factors.

I've had the phone for 4 days. At first the battery life seemed really poor. But now with the second time charging it, after letting it totally drain , it seems like I will get a full 3-4 days to a charge. I would classify myself as a light user. I would call it average. What I do seem to think is that camera use SIGNIFICANTLY uses battery power, which I suppose is logical. Last charge was only a day long with my kids taking 6 or 7 shots. I'll report in a week or so to see if results differ. Only negatives I have so far is lack of larger fonts, and external screen too small for my nearsightedness.

Battery life with the standard battery (mah 1000) is not the greatest, or the worst. I've had the phone for 6 days now. I tried leaving the phone on for 24 hours (unplugged) and made a few calls, and got down to 1/2 charge after 24 hours. I usually, however, always have it plugged into the charger in the car, then take it inside with me and never charge it indoors. So for me, it's not a big issue. I was thinking of getting a second battery just in case. Also, an extended life battery (1700 mah) is available which doesn't add that much to the weight or size of the phone.

It can't possibly be worse than my T720. This phone has like the worst battery life ever! Oh yeah, by the way, my phone says "invalid battery." Does anyone know what that means?

I've had no problems with it running out. I plug it into my car charger while I'm in the car and plug it in at night. I'm on the phone alot during the day and it's not run out. I don't ever turn it off.

I was talking to the Verizon tech about the car charger, and he advised me to only use the car charger when the battery is about to die, kind of like jumper cables, otherwise it damages the battery over time. And you should only really fully charge your phone home charger. I am not sure if it's true or not, but just thought I would pass it on.

Thanks for the info ! I've had Samsung phones for years and have always plugged into my car charger - it's generally limited time in the car, never had any problems with battery life and never even used my spare that I had.
