670 battery life ?
Ok, I have been using the 670 for about a week..
I am not impressed with the battery life at all.
The A530 with the standard batter was better.. I am a bit concerned. Seems the incredibly bright screen is what is doing it. You can't lower the brightness of the screen. I have turned off the Led indicator which should help a bit and it still is not great. Seems to maybe get about 120 mins of talk time.. Yikes..
The phone otherwise is totally awesome. The call quality and reception is top notch.
The only other problem I am having is I had Verizon move my names from my 530 to the 670. I cant delete any of those names. When I try to delete the phone reboots..
Also, it only holds 500 total entries. The 530 help 1000..

I have just upgraded from the 530 as well, and think this phone is amazing. I tend to burn through phones at the rate of two a year. With the 530, I thought that I wouldn't need any other phone, ever. I didn't know what I was missing.
To answer your question about dimming the display. Yes you can make it dimmer. In the Set up menu, under the "Display" sub menu, open the "Backlight" menu. Enable the "Power Save" function. This will keep your screen dim all the time.
As far as the Contacts issue, I would contact Verizon. I had them transfer my contact over as well and don't have any trouble deleting them.
