Samsung SCH-A670
I bought the phone yesterday
First let me thank the posters on this site. I have never really followed cell phones and latest cell technologies in the past but this time around when it came time to upgrade I decided to do my homework. Reading what posters on this site had to say (including the release date!) was very helpful.
I was interested in purchasing a Samsung after hearing from my best friend and the sales rep at Verizon store that it was the best brand. I wanted to buy the A530 but it was being retired.
I bought the Samsung A670 in Manhattan on Tuesday. It wasnt even on the sales floor yet but upon asking they had it in the back for sale. $199.99 with $70 rebate.

as far as the piture showing on the external lcd, yes it will, I have done this on many calls already.
as far a taking a picture with camera, well I just bring it up on the computer and snap the pic on the camera
also, the external screen is dark but if you press the volume button on the side for 2 secs, it will brighten up just fine.
