Samsung SCH-A670
Need some help
I was looking into getting the Samsung SCH-a610 or the Samsung SCH-A670 for verizon. Does it have the abitlity to take pictures and use them as caller id pictures. EX- say John called could I have taken a picture of John before and see his face on the screen when he calls. The Samsung SCH-a610 model also only has the one main screen.. are there any other phone supported by verizon that have another small LCD on the outside that could do the same caller id picture funcion. I hope since i am new i haven't offended anyone or broken any rules (like posting in the wrong forum).. so please don't flame me if i have.

thanks alot. Can you or anyone else tell me the reason the the a670 is much better than the a610. Isn't the a610 more expensive?

Only reason the a610 is more is because of the
rotating screen. Big Deal!
I saw the a610 when it came out and passed.

is the common conseinus (sp) that the best phone verizon is offering right now is the A670. Of course this is taking price into consideration. Should I get it or wait for something else??

Depends on what is important to you. I picked up a 670 the first day it was avaliable and it has been a dream. It does everything I could ever want and has great reception. The vx7000 and Audiovox 9900 are coming out soon but these phones are MUCH larger. The advantages of these phones are the ability to video message and the 9900 has an amazing interior screen. But this all comes at a trade off in size. Also in my experience with these 3 phone manufacturers (LG, Audiovox and Samsung) Samsung by far makes the better quality phone, no question about it.
