I just went to my local VZW store and checked it out...I must say that the Internal screen is amazing for only having a rez of 128x160...The external is descent except for the fact it is STN..so when u outside it will be hard to read other than that I am very impressed by this phone!!!

The internet was showing that it was out of stock in my zip code so I went to a nearby Verizon Store and got it for free after the rebate. So far the only complaint is that I can't read the external display. It's too dim.

I know, I tried, but I still can't see it all that well w/out hitting the toggle switch on the side. I guess I'm just blind! 🙄

In the sunlight it seems to work better without the light. Inside you will have to use the toggle switch on the side.

How'd you get the phone for free from the Verizon store? My local store has it for $199.99 minus a $70 rebate = $129.99. The local Radio Shacks have it for $99.99 minus a $20 rebate = $79.99.

I'm looking at my receipt right now and I was charged only $70 for the phone. I got one for my father also and it was the same deal. Free after the $70 rebate. We both qualified for the new every 2, maybe that had something to do with it. The Verizon store I went to always seems to be cheaper than any regular cellular store. You just have to wait 2 hours for a salesman! 🙄 But, evidently it's worth it.

This would be my first Verizon phone, so I don't qualify for the $100-off New Every Two deal. But even then, it would be $29.99.

yup i got mine last night for 29.99. it was 199.99 but new every 2 got it to 100 minus a 70 rebate. so ya i got mine for 30.
