Does anyone know how i can unlock and use the Sprint version A680 on VERIZON WIRELESS? Verizon rep said they will try to activate it for me. But i wonder if they will be able to. Anyone have any ideas?

If you can manage to put Verizon PRL into A680 and change some settings, it may work. Even so, it may not work good. And honestly, I don't think it will ever work...

You need a ESN # and possibly a SIM card. Keep in mind that more or less only the phone function and text messaging will word.

Theres no Sim cards in Sprint Phones, the guy thats doing it for me Needs to get A MSL code for me, All features on phone will work, TRI MODE, only things that i think wont work will be text messaging, and photo messaging.....but i dont use that anyways. I NEVER WOULD.

The phone has a CAMCORDER ABILITY, AND Camera phone. So much better than any verizon phone....even better than the A670 coming out. Dont think the a680 and a670 are the same.....a680 is so much better, and lighter, and TRIMODE!!!

You need to chill out. The 670 and 680 are VERY similar. The 680 may be lighter but not by very much. Plus, I like my phones a little heavier expecially when so small. makes it feel like it has more substance. The 680 is not really better (I personally like the way the 670 looks way better). Very similar phones and from what i am hearing the 670 should be out real soon and will have the ability to send pictures and video and all that stuff.

I hate to agree with you, but the a680 is a much better looking phone, and better battery life then the a670.
If you dont mind me asking, where did you get it, where did you get it unlocked,
how much did you pay for it,
and did verizon hassle you at all.
Thanks
