Anyone else have this problem? The front display lights up though there is no call/message coming in. It stays lit for a few seconds. I've seen it happen a few times and it seems to happen randomly and not on a cycle (e.g., once every ten minutes).

This happens to me also, seems to be when I'm driving back and forth between states and areas where I think the providers may be changing. Seems to usually happen around the same spots.

I've had this problem too, and I had it with the A530 as well. Between this and the caller ID log problem, I am pretty unimpressed by what I used to think was a pretty decent phone for Verizon. Who ever would have thought that in 3+ years, Verizon hasn't been able to come out with anything better than the Motorola v60?

Personally, I've never experienced this problem. The call log problem is not that big of a deal. Samsung does make a very good phone in my opinion. I agree that it's mostly a good phone, but come on - it's not like call logs are a new technology. Cell phone companies have been writing the firmware to handle call logs for probably over 10 years now. It's just unprofessional to have that bug in there. If there is a problem with streaming video or some other cutting-edge technology, I can understand... It's the stupid, avoidable bugs that bother me.
