can the external display image be changed??
hey i just purchased this phone today, and i was just wondering if the image on the external display window could be changed. i have seen pictures of this model on the internet, and they had different images than the one i do. ive searched through the phone and briefly read through the manual, and found no answer to this question. id greatly appreciate if someone could let me know anything about this issue. thanks a bunch đ

a670 right? you can have a display image ONLY when someone calls you... you cant have it normally like that.. iono why =[

ohhhh i was talking about different clocks, i have seen other phones with different clocks on the external window before and i was just wondering how to do that. its no big deal, a clock is a clock, but i was just curious..
and for the image that appears when someone calls, are you talking about the caller id with picture that appears on the outside window? because i dont know how to do that either lol im hopeless đ¤

lol i know im sitting here with my phone and trying to figure it all out....
it doesnt say picture id under contacts on my phone đ ...when i go to edit each contact theres a section that says image, so ive added an image to the contact, but when they call, the picture only pops up on the inside display and on the external window it just says their name...im so confused

im liking this phone a lot so far, i just dont know how to do the caller id thingy and its driving me nuts lol

hahaha.. put a picture under Picture Id.. close it and when one of your friends call.. im most certainly that it WILL show up.. try it with you house phone.. there shouldnt be any reason why it wont work.

it doesnt even tell you how to do it in the manual, i think maybe mine just doesnt allow it lol i have no idea...im stumped

To set picture id, open contacts, then scroll to the person you want to set the pic id for, press ok. Then scroll to the bottom of that contacts particular info, to where it says picture id, press edit, then press option, choose gallery, pick the picture you want to set for that person, press ok 2 times and you should be set!

when i scroll to the bottom of the contacts information, it doesnt say picture id, it says image. and then i choose an image for that, but it doesnt appear on the external window when they call...i have different options on my phone, i dont know why đ

nevermind i figured it out. the model thats available in Canada is different than the model available in the US. ah well, thanks anyways for all your help guys đ

I know I'm late on this, but youcan change the clocks on the outside display. You still only get a few choices, but you can change them. Go to Menu->Setup->Display->Front Display->Wallpaper Then select the one you want and hit OK. That's it.
