I've had the phone for over a month, and once they got the internal Cell Tower List update out to my phone properly, it is working pretty well. (IRDB Update or CARD Push in Cingular-speak) For about 2 weeks, it would switch to Cingular-Extend for the whole weekend -- making me have to pay roaming fees. VERY annoying. (It's an idiosyncracy of my employee plan -- most people needn't worry about WHAT the display says ...)
Downloading ringers & graphics is not as slick as it should be -- you get to a certain point, and then you go "what next?" All you see is a blank white screen with a tiny arrow on it.
(Hint: press "MENU" and choose "save item" on the next screen ...)
Would I buy this one again? No, I wouldn't. But, then, due the the huge number of tech calls about the Moto T720, I wouldn't buy that one, either .... This is DEFINATELY better than the T720, assuming they ever get around to adding the data kit to the accessory list ...
